TASTE AND SEE THAT THE LORD IS GOOD

  God is full of wonderful surprises. It takes deep faith to see the wonder and beauty of His love in ordinary events of the day. God is good even in the most trying of situations. When storms of life erupt,  one always questions "Where is God?"  Sometimes the mystery of God is so powerful that we cannot comprehend His love for us in difficult moments of our lives. Yet,  He is always there to carry us in our storm. Yes. God is great and His love is eternal. In the midst of a storm,  we feel lost and confused.  We cry out to God who seem far away,  or who seem deaf to our cries. But,  do not fear. God is near. It is with faith and trust that even in our darkest hour,  God is blowing away the wind,  the rain and the waves that engulf us. He is gently working in the background and clearing our path. When we pray,  we need to pray with faith,  "Thy will be done,  Thy Kingdom come on earth as it is in Heaven".  Jesus gave ...

Tranquility

 Tranquility speaks to me of peace, deep peace and calm. Where does this deep peace and calm come from? It comes from a deep connection I have with God. Thus, tranquility helps me to connect with God at a deep level. Whether I am in the midst of a storm, or enjoying life to the full, I am always surrounded by the deep love and peace God has for me. It is not always easy to get into that tranquil space, because doubts and fears are part of human nature and can totally overwhelm me if I allow it to happen. However, my favourite quote from Julian of Norwich says it all for me: "All will be well. All matter of things will be well". I have made that my daily mantra, to just sit in the Lord’s presence and allow God to whisper to me that "all will be well, all matter of things will be well". Tranquility helps me to stay calm and focused. I am reminded of God's grace and peace when He says, "Peace I give to you..." it reassures me of His abiding presence and t...
