Sower of Seeds
Good day everyone!
As I began reflecting on the parable of the seed and the sower in the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 13, the parable of the sower, I suddenly got an Epiphany experience! For the first time I realised that we are the sower of seeds in our lives. God uses us in more ways than one to sow seeds into people's hearts. We have the power to sow either positive seeds into people's hearts where it can flourish and grow and become something beautiful, or we have an equal power to sow seeds of negativity. These are the seeds that grow and take root and are destructive to the soul.
Have you ever sown seeds, nurtured it with water in good soil, and seen a miracle happen right before your eyes? What you have planted, has grown into exactly what you expected it to grow into. This is exactly what the Lord wants to do in your life. He wants the best for your life. He has planted a seed in your heart. To make it grow, you have to nurture it with prayer and praise of God who has created you to be something beautiful for God. You have only one life to live here on Earth. What you do with your one precious life is to be a beautiful flower for others to admire.
How will you be a sower of seeds today?
Seeds are vital for life and growth. Without seeds and the planting of seeds, there can be no growth and no life.
You are an instrument in God's Hands. He can use you powerfully to sow good seeds that will flourish, take root and grow into something beautiful. Just give God a chance to make something beautiful of your life. God just asks for your cooperation. With God all things are possible.
The challenge now is to believe that you are what you sow. If you are a negative person, you will sow negative seeds that will blossom into destruction. If you sow positive seeds, it will grow and blossom into beauty, life, joy, independence, great self-esteem, love, kindness, and so many beautiful Kingdom Values that will bring you much happiness and give you a fulfilled life of peace.
I leave you with three vital questions for you to reflect on for your life:
1. What kind of sower of seeds are you?
2. What kind of seeds are you planting?
3. What kind of growth has taken root in you?
God bless you all.
Have a fruitful day.
